It may be the case you have stale Java Console extensions in the Add-ons Manager of Firefox. You cannot remove these entries because there is no Remove button. To fix this problem, go to the following directory.
c:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\extensions
Remove the directories starting with the following string.
{CAFEEFAC-0016-0000-
